Real Writers: Using Authentic Writing Samples in TESOL Teacher Education


One of the persistent challenges for TESOL teacher educators leading courses in assessment, grammar, and methods is providing teachers with authentic student writing samples so that they can practice providing feedback to English learners. In this session, we provide a set of student writing samples along with guiding tasks for teacher educators.
