Affiliate Benefit
For the 2020 TESOL Advocacy & Policy Summit, each U.S. based member of the TESOL Affiliate Network in good standing will receive
one (1) registration at a 50% discount, plus one (1) complimentary closing dinner ticket.
The deadline to request your affiliate's one discounted registration code is 31 May 2020.
In addition to the nominal registration fee, as part of receiving this benefit:
- Recipients of the discounted affiliate registration will be asked to assist in a leadership role during the summit, communicating with other attendees on myTESOL, and helping to organize other attendees from the same state or affiliate.
- Recipients of the discounted affiliate registration must be permanent U.S. residents. Affiliate representatives are expected to schedule and hold meetings with members of Congress, but non-permanent residents are generally not successful in scheduling meetings, and if they are, their messages are often disregarded due to their citizenship status.
Please note that sending the name and contact information of your affiliate representative
DOES NOT confirm their registration. Space is not guaranteed and the discounted registration is based on the cost of registration at the time of requesting the affiliate discount, so you are encouraged to identify your representative as soon as possible. Representatives will be e-mailed instructions on how to complete their registration and take advantage of the affiliate benefit.
NOTE: Participants who register at the full, non-discounted price, will not be allowed to retroactively apply their affiliate discount code after their original, full-price registration is submitted. Please contact or have your affiliate leadership contact TESOL for the discount registration instructions BEFORE you register at the regular rate. Requests for price adjustments will not be accepted.
